The splendid naturalistic landscape forms a frame of the ruins of past civilisations such as the Etruscans and the Romans mixed with traces of the medieval period.

It is a nucleus of monuments of great interest with the Ursineo waterworks, the fountain and the Dome of the Renaissance period, the Church of San Rocco at Capisotto, the Orsini Pillar full of mysterious symbols, such as the well and the portal in the fortresses elegant courtyard (the seat of the Episcopal).

Not to be forgotten the culture and traditions of the Jewish population which has given this appealing place the “little Jerusalem”. To be visited the Jewish community with their synagogue.

When entering the town you can see the ruins of the Church of San Francesco, with the Sanctuary of the Madonna della Grazie opposite.
