We are situated on the boarder of the Natural Reserve of the Maremma, famous for its still uncontaminated environment and naturalistic beauty.  Immersed in a wild landscape really unique which will surely make you emotional and awake you environmental spirit. Near the farm holiday there are some horse-riding stables for peaceful horse-rides within the Reserve of the Maremma, or if you are an expert horseman and love the spirit of adventure, you could book with the Regional Alberese company your exit on horse together with the famous Butteri , you will be their guest during a typical days work.

For sea lovers, not to be missed are the bathing establishments near Marina de Alberese, which can be found inside the Reserve of the Maremma, or with a short drive by car you can easily reach famous coastal locations such as Marina di Grosseto, Castiglion della Pescaia, Punta Ala and Follonica with their characteristic coastline of pinewoods and large fine sandy beaches. Torwards the south we have the Argento coast with the headland of Argentario and the island of Giglio.

For nature lovers it’s possible to visit the Natural Reserve of the Maremma and the WWF  Oasis at Orbetello and Lake Burano, or go down the river Ombrone by canoe.

For cultural visits the excavations of the ruins of the Etruscan Roman city of Roselle, the Archaeological Museum of the Maremma at Grosseto, the Etruscan necropolis of Sovana and Vetulonia. Of course, it’s possible to follow our specialised routes which are indicated on our web site, such as the Sea, the Tuff and Mount Amiata,  for a full immersion into the special atmosphere of that route which you have chosen.
